【Premium Kyoto Tatami】Berlin　(Japanese tea room)

We are honored to announce that we recently completed a tatami mat renewal project for a client’s traditional teahouse in Berlin. A skilled artisan from our team traveled to the location to personally handle the project.

The tatami facing we used for this project is a rare and exceptional product known as “Tennuki.” This unique material is made from “Hino Sarasa” rushes, carefully cultivated by Mr. Hashiguchi, and then aged for a year and a half. Its divine, slightly white sheen is a testament to its supreme quality and rarity.

It was a great privilege to bring a piece of Japan’s traditional beauty to a distant land.
