【Shinrabansho】Kyoto (Tea Room)
In Kyoto City, there is a tea room with a magical mechanism invented by a tea ceremony teacher.
By simply sinking one’s feet into a space like a horigotatsu, which was made by a carpenter, even those who are not good at sitting on the floor can perform the tea ceremony in a posture as if they were sitting on the floor.
This time, we have installed a deformed tatami mat and a half tatami mat along the shape of the hole that is necessary when sinking the feet into the tatami mat.
By replacing the tatami with a half tatami mat, the hole is eliminated and the traditional ote-mae can be performed.
